Changes from September 29 to October 6, 2026

New & Updates

Copy for instructors:

This update adds a few improvements for instructors and course designers. You don’t need to do anything to use them. When evaluating a student’s chart you can now see when each entry was actually saved, and the Case Study and Learning Object lists can now show items that have no tags.

The dates beside the items tell you when the change was deployed.

Changes for instructors

See when each entry was actually saved (Oct 6)

When you evaluate a student’s chart, a new Metadata column shows the real date and time each entry and correction was saved, in your own time zone. This shows whether the student charted as the scenario unfolded or filled it in afterwards. Content creators see the same save times when editing a case study. Students do not see this column.

Find untagged case studies and Learning Objects (Oct 6)

The tag filter on the Case Study and Learning Object lists has a new “no tags” choice, so you can find items that still need tags. The Med Orders list on the Formulary page can now also be filtered by tag.

Formulary upload keeps your extra columns (Oct 6)

When you upload a formulary spreadsheet, any extra columns you include are now kept and come back when you download it. Each medication can also be marked “needs review” or “reviewed”, and the table can show only the ones that still need review.

Bug Fixes

This update also fixes several issues. The Discharge Summary’s medication list now shows medication names, routes and timing the same way the Medication Orders page does, and lists only current orders. Typing accented characters no longer causes an error, students no longer see error messages caused by their browser extensions, and class lists display correctly when a student has no name on record. The Urinalysis page layout and labels were also improved.

Discharge Summary medications (Oct 6)

The medication list on the Discharge Summary now shows readable medication names, routes and timing instead of codes. Only active orders appear, and an order with an end day drops off once the simulation reaches that day.

Class lists without a student name (Oct 6)

A class list now displays correctly when a student has no name on record.

Fewer error messages (Oct 1)
