EdEHR updates will be released this Friday evening after 9 PM PT. These are Tier 1 — bug fixes and performance improvements, applied automatically with no action required on your part.
This release addresses a D2L (Brightspace) course rollover issue that was preventing faculty from using this special affordance. Other fixes include several server performance improvements that reduce delays when loading class lists during active classroom sessions. Accessibility has been improved with better colour contrast on inline edit buttons for course content editors. Security dependency updates have also been applied.
The server may be unavailable for short periods of time during this maintenance action.
Faculty who rolled over a course in D2L (Brightspace) environments may have needed to connect their activities to content by hand. The issue was the rollover information is an undocumented and unsupported D2L artifact. We discovered this artifact may contain a list of previous activities and not just one. We use the most recent previous activity to locate the previous content.
Duplicate medication codes in the formulary could cause conflicts. The system now enforces unique codes across the formulary.
For content editors the inline edit buttons lacked sufficient colour contrast, making them harder to see for some users. Contrast has been improved to meet accessibility standards.
