Patient Banner Now Shows Birth Sex
The patient information banner that appears at the top of every screen now includes the patient's birth sex. This is important for programs that require it during clinical assessments, including medical laboratory technology.
Holter Monitor Added to Imaging and Lab Requisition Options
When creating or reviewing medical imaging orders and lab requisitions, Holter Monitor is now available as an image type alongside CT scan, X-ray, and others.
Copy for instructors: EdEHR updates will be released this Friday evening after 9 PT. These are Tier 1 — minor and additive changes that go live automatically with no action required on your part. The patient banner at the top of every screen now shows the patient's birth sex — it will appear automatically, no changes to your activities are needed. Holter Monitor has also been added as an image option in medical imaging and lab requisition activities and is available immediately.
NEWS Score Calculations Corrected
The National Early Warning Score (NEWS) was producing incorrect totals due to a calculation error. Scores now add up correctly.
Fluid Balance Chart Tabs Now Display Correctly
The Chart and Table tabs on the Fluid Balance page were not appearing. Both tabs now show correctly, and the data populates as soon as the page opens.
Hematology and MAR Drafts: Referenced Data Restored on Reopen
When a student saved a hematology assessment or a medication administration record (MAR) as a draft and then reopened it, the referenced CBC or medication order information was missing from the form. This has been fixed — the referenced information now appears correctly when reopening a saved draft.
The 'Change Reason Dialog' is fixed to not show for content editors when the change feature flag is disabled
When the "require change reason" feature flag is turned off, a confirmation dialog was still appearing in some situations when saving. This has been corrected — the dialog now only appears when the feature is active.
