Release Notes
We are excited to announce a significant update to the EHR system, featuring a range of enhancements designed to improve usability, expand functionality, and streamline workflows for both instructors and students. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key changes included in this release.
New Clinical Content & Forms
As part of the recent scope of work, a major focus has been on expanding the clinical content available within the EHR. We have added a suite of new forms and scoring tools to support a wider range of teaching scenarios. The new additions include:
- New Form Sets: Comprehensive forms for Maternity, Newborn, and Pediatrics have been integrated into the system.
- NEWS2 Integration: The National Early Warning Score (NEWS2) has been added to the vitals section.
Interface Updates
Instructor Interface
- Tab-Based Navigation for Activities: The previous link-based navigation within the "Activity" section has been replaced with a more modern and intuitive tabbed interface.

- Real-time Student Monitoring: Instructors can now view a student's work live, without the student having to submit their work or be locked out by the instructor. This change enables instructors to provide feedback to students in real-time during a simulation.
- Time Slicing for Simulation Timing: The simulation timing tool for faculty has been enhanced to show the case study content in "time slices". This allows an educator to see the specific patient records that will be visible to a student at any given point in time.

Consolidated Learning Object Editor: The interface for editing learning objects now uses tabs to consolidate "Content," "Student Instructions," "Faculty Notes," and "Creator Notes" into a single, focused view. Previously, these notes were located in different sections of the interface
